There's always someone online to assist you, and sometimes, it will be from an overseas area. This is especially helpful in the case of unlocking videos.

It was impossible for the average user of a computer twenty years ago to connect to a VPN connection directly to their router. This would allow Netflix and Amazon to believe they were in a different location, and thus unlock the content they created that was only available to their users. I tried searching for other methods but couldn't find them. Apps are useless and many other sites claim they can do it, but Keepvid is the only one that does it effectively. It can support Youtube playlists, and allows you to download the most watched videos. Even though it comes with more redirects than usual and, more recently there are a lot of outside advertisements, they won't show up until after you've downloaded your video. It's usually not bothersome to me. So I try Flvto.
