1、 Theory of anal pad downward movement
The anal pad is located under the mucosa of the anal canal and is composed of veins, smooth muscle, elastic tissue and connective tissue. The anal pad has pathological hypertrophy and shifts to the distance to form hemorrhoids.
2、 Varicose vein theory
The formation of hemorrhoids is related to venous dilatation and congestion. The recto anal canal is located at the lowest part of the abdominal cavity. Any factor causing the increase of intra-abdominal pressure, such as sedentary, long standing, constipation, pregnancy, ascites, etc., can hinder the reflux of rectal vein, resulting in the formation of hemorrhoids.
Classification: according to different parts: internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids.
