What to Look For When Buying a Handheld Vacuum Cleaner
There are all kinds of hand held vacuums out there. Some people use them every day, some people use them infrequently, and some people use them rarely at all. But there is one type of hand held vacuum that I use on a regular basis, and I'll tell you why. I'll be honest: they're not cheap. In fact, there is no need to oversell a handheld vacuum; the best hand held vacuums are those that actually do well, meaning that you can leave off the canister hand vacuum in the closet nearly all the time, and the cordless ones can cost as little as a couple of dollars. The other nice thing about some good hand held vacuums?

For example, I own a corded Miele Handheld Vacuum. The corded version has a rechargeable battery, and a hose that turns on instead of having a hose that plugs into the wall. This means that when I'm ready to use it, I just plug it into the wall and go, because I don't have to worry about an outlet. It's much more convenient than a power cord.

Of course, not all cordless vacuums have the same convenience features. Most cordless vacuums have at least one replaceable battery. Most cordless vacuums will also allow you to quickly and easily empty the cleaning compartment. And many cordless vacuums have a handy charging cord that doubles as a vacuum cleaner tool. These features all allow you to move your cleaning chores around as you please.

But is it practical to use one hand, while using another hand to vacuum? Well, first of all the definition of 'practical' is relative. If you're shopping for a new vacuum, it wouldn't make sense to get a corded model, unless of course you had a truck or something to carry it. You wouldn't want to lug around a corded vacuum with you, but if you are looking for a lightweight and compact vacuum to take with you, it would make sense to get a cordless one. Handheld vacuums, as a rule, weigh less than about seven or eight pounds total. handheld vacuum black friday They also have a smaller carrying case, which usually measures about six or seven inches in length.

Some newer cordless handheld vacuums come with both battery and corded versions. One thing to keep in mind is that corded ones generally have much better suction power. The battery life on these things isn't so long, so they will have you cleaning for quite a few hours between charges. You do, however, have the option of choosing a model that comes with a rechargeable battery, but it is generally more expensive.

On the other hand, cordless handheld vacuums have much longer battery life and a much larger carrying case. While you don't have the same suction power, they can be used much longer. Of course, this comes at a price, as they cost more than corded models. On the plus side though, they have a much longer battery life and a larger carrying case.

There are a couple of benefits of choosing a cordless model over a corded one. First off, cordless vacuums usually don't have cord extensions, which eliminates the need for an extension cord. This makes it much easier to reach corners and under chairs without having to worry about an extra cord. Also, you don't have the hassle of taking apart the vacuum or messing up your house and possibly damaging it in the process. Often times with corded vacuums, you will have to take them apart to get the power cord out and then reassemble them again to plug them back into the wall outlet.

Most cordless vacuum cleaners come standard with either a lithium-ion battery or a lithium-polymer battery. Most cordless vacuum cleaners also come standard with either a standard battery or a triple-A battery. If you buy a cordless vacuum that doesn't come standard with a lithium-ion battery or a lithium-polymer battery, most cordless vacuum cleaners that are made today will include the necessary accessories to charge these batteries. For older model cordless vacuums, you will likely only have a standard battery.
