<p>Welcome to the story behind 'Pop Up Chip Shop. Fish &amp; Chips with a modern twist, but a traditional feel.</p>

<p>Vans are commonplace nowadays. I wanted to make something unique and different. The combination of traditional style and street-food vibes.</p>

<p>After years of managing and operating a highly successful traditional fish-and-chip van business, it was time to retire and embark on a new adventure.</p> fish and chip catering

<p>I had always loved the idea and skills that professional street food pop-ups have, so after seeing a significant increase in chip vans nationally and locally, decided to do something different.</p>

<p>Years ago, I took a booking for a marriage in my chip van. But, just a few months before the big day, the couple called me with a logistical problem. There was only a five-foot opening into their wedding courtyard so no vehicle could enter. This really got me thinking.</p>

<p>The exterior dimensions of the Pop Up are impressive at 4.5 metres by 3 meters. They have colour printed canvas and a large retro fitting fish and chip light bulb sign. Pop Ups, unlike catering vehicles, are located at ground level, so customers and their guests can see what is happening.</p>
