My previous company do not have a pantry in the office, there is only a refrigerator, a microwave oven and a water machine located at the corner of the office. There is no table and seats for us to have their lunch. We need to have our lunch in our workstations during lunch time. Also, since there is no water supply and drainage in the office, we need to wash our lunch boxes and cups in the washroom which the hygiene is very low. Therefore, it discourages us not to bring our lunch boxes to office, and pushes us to bring our cups home for washing.

I suggest building a pantry in the office. The pantry could setup water supply and drainage, tables and seats. It provides an area for us to have lunch and away from our works during lunch time. Also, with the setup of water supply and drainage, we could wash our lunchboxes and cups in the pantry without going to the washroom. It helps to ensure the cleanness of our cups from not washing them in the washroom. The most important thing is it helps us to interact more with other colleagues during lunch instead of just facing the cubicle of our workstations.
