This is a guide to catching snakes.
1 - Typically the safest option would be to set a fish trap.

The easiest way to capture a snake is to grab it with thick gloves if it is certain the snake is not poisonous and non-venomous. Relocate it elsewhere in a pillowcase.
The best way to catch a snake if you are not able to handle it, and cannot identify it or reach it, is to use a snake hook or snake tongs such as the one pictured below.
However, most bites are caused by people trying to catch or kill snakes, so maybe it's best just to leave it alone! You should use a trap or hire a pro to remove it. The links are both available at the bottom of the page.
When you sit bent over in a garden, in the heat of the day, you are likely to be unnerved by a thin, long body suddenly slithering beneath your feet. In addition to liking your garden, the snake has been watching you as you remove rocks and weeds from the ground. The more often this happens, the more nervous you will be when reaching in a clump of vegetables, and eventually you may avoid your garden altogether. For someone who appreciates the fruits of his or her labor, it is a great tragedy to abandon it. Try catching the snake if you can, just maybe.
You need to confirm what kind of serpent you are dealing with before you try to catch it. You need to use a special touch if you are going to handle a poisonous snake. The snake does not have to be poisonous in order for you to begin.
You need to reenter your garden first. You're aware this is where the snake is, therefore you'll have to enter to catch it. By using a long branch, yard stick, or fire poker, you will deter the snake. Keeping your tool near the snake's head will keep it focused on you. With your other hand, go down and pick up the snake's tail. It's best to keep the main body of the snake on the ground. The tail of a snake is not the best place to pick it up! Pick up and move the snake's nose as quickly as you can with your stick. In other words, you should hold the tail of the snake and the stick that is holding up the snake's front part with one hand. By controlling the reptile's body in this way, you will not put yourself in danger. Move the snake to a safe area before it is relocated. The animal can also be placed inside a pillowcase to be transported by vehicle to a safe location if you don't have access to a nearby haven. You should gently steer the snake's head toward where you want it to go. When spilling the snake out of a pillow case, leave some of the body covered. Back away and let the pillowcase fall to the ground. Your linen can be retrieved when the snake has left.
You can try shooing the snake into a large garbage bin if the above method is too direct. A broom can be used to guide the snake into the bin once it's on the ground. You do not want to injure the snake by hitting or pushing it inside. Because of the smooth sides, the snake will be unable to climb out and it will be safe to relocate.
You can eliminate snakes inside the house by using a shirt and pillowcase. You should place the snake in the pillowcase and your shirt/light blanket over it. In case the snake emerges, place the pillowcase inside a garbage can or large storage container. Using an airtight lid, cover the container. The snake is now ready to be transported.
