The glue was removed from the cobra's body by putting it in a red bucket and transporting it to a safe location.
Earlier in the day, WRAL's cameras caught the snake crawling out of a siding onto a porch on Sandringham Drive. In looking around, the hood of the vulture was visible.
Officers from Animal Control moved the cameras back after confirming that it was the snake, trying to capture it before moving in.
A 911 call from the same location prompted the search early Tuesday morning.

The North Carolina capital is Raleigh. Following a 48-hour saga that garnered attention from across North Carolina, a glue trap finally captured a venomous zebra cobra on a north Raleigh porch Wednesday, capping an incident that drew widespread attention.
After guiding the cobra into a bucket, the glue over its body was carefully removed.
WRAL's cameras caught the snake the previous day crawling onto the porch of a house on Sandringham Drive. A hood was visible wherever it turned its head.
Camera crews had to be redirected after Animal Control officers confirmed it was a snake before moving in to try to capture it.
Early Tuesday, early Tuesday morning, a 911 call from inside the same house sparked the search.

Her neighbor Joan Nelson expressed relief at the end of the ordeal.
It makes me really happy and I feel much more secure, she said. It feels as if I can now go outside and enjoy the scenery. The snake, though, must have felt bad.

Zebra cobras are fast, can spit up to nine feet, and can spit at high speeds, making even morning dog walks dangerous. African Snakebite Institute has described the snake as very dangerous. As a result of the venom, a victim's nervous system could shut down.
A person hit by the poison would experience pain, swelling, irritation, vomiting, and diarrhea. It would then lead to a high fever and breathing problems, which could cause respiratory failure.
A veterinarian at Avian and Exotic Animal Care, Salina Locke, treats all sorts of animals there.
The cobras in this species are not typically biting. They spray their venom more often -- they're very accurate, she said.
A pet of this snake is not recommended because of the risks, according to Locke.
Most bites occur while people are sleeping. A study shows that those who are bitten may suffer long-term health issues.
It was Tuesday afternoon when police conducted a search of 6917 Chamonix Place, near the street where the snake was last seen.
This home was visited four times by police during the month of March. Following the zebra cobra's spotting on a porch a half mile away, they returned on Monday and Tuesday.
According to county records, Keith and Rebecca Gifford live at that address. The Facebook page containing Keith Gifford's name contains several photos of snakes that he claims to own.
Chris Gifford has more than 460000 followers on TikTok. According to one of his posts, he claims to have a 7-foot zebra cobra.
