i know that during this time i can't really be there for you like how people would normally be. i wish i was able to be next to you during this time, to drive down to shoreview and hug you while crying because lord knows i'm a crybaby. throughout the whole timespan your mom's been unwell i've been doing nothing but wishing the best for her, praying for her and you and tristan and josh too later on down the line. i've never been at such a loss with my circumstances until all this happened, because more than anything these past few months i've just wanted to be there for you. and in a way i have been, like texting and facetiming daily, but i can't help feeling like i fall short of being a good friend to you sometimes. but the love i have for you has never wavered, nor faltered once and that is the one thing i promise will never change. i know these past few months have been crazy, and one of the hardest times in your life but i know you're stronger than whatever life throws at you. your mom knew this all too well too, and i'm sure she's smiling down right now proud of you and all that you are and have yet to become.
jaq, thank you for being my friend turned sister, for being the akaashi to my bo, someone i can feel wholly comfortable with, and for letting me open up to you this past year. i don't know what the future has in store for us, but no matter what happens i will always be here for you. i love you always my sis
