My family is a huge fan of camping, and nothing is better than that. We do have technology with us.

Since the beginning, I want to emphasize this fact: We are a camping and outdoor family. We spend as much as we can bond with nature. We have cats, dogs, we bring them with, we are just one happy family camping located in the wilderness. Yet we are always clearly aware of where we are and how we got there, plus we know where to find water, and where to spend an hour or two watching television as a family. We don't want our small pleasures and be at the house without entertainment or music. We insist on having a generator, and an incredibly small 32" screen. Sometimes people think we are like nomads with no home or land.. No, we live in Seattle and our dad is employed as a lawyer with a unsavory company, which pays him big salary. Mother says that's the reason he likes to go camping every month four times trying to not be a burden on his work..
We do spend many hours around the fire, we talk with each other, sing songs, and play campfire games, while our cats who are completely independent wander around the vicinity.. Funny is how they are always eager to return to the goin' home part. Joiner is our hunter-helper dog. He is able to locate our kittens quickly when we return. They're not losing weight and are loving it there without us.. Perhaps others in the camp feed them, or they get food from them or even chase mice and other critters Who knows.

While we love our phones and tablets when we are around the campfire, it is not something we disapprove of. We are awestruck by technology and don't care if they are lost, even on camping trips. While our father doesn't seem to be bothered, he switches off his mobile throughout the weekend. It lets him relax according to him. After a days worth of fishing and hunting we have a big dinner in the forest. Following dinner, we sit down to watch the TV or music videos or shows that we have downloaded before our trip. Our parents aren't concerned about us using the phone since we don't have internet in the woods. There's no games email, games, and other items to reply to before we can get back into conversation. Before trip we usually copy video files using a Youtube clip converter or other site for downloading videos. HULU is an amazing tool, as it lets us watch hours worth of shows and movies that we have already downloaded to our computer before the trip. Videos and series are not just great for making camping trips more enjoyable, but they are also great to help you get there. Three-hour trips in a campervan can often be boring. This is what my father loves. He can concentrate on the road and this big machine is difficult to control, therefore he needs to focus on that.

We'll continue to use GPS when we go camping. It's essential in an emergency to know where you are, and also how to return to home. Although we have not had any major incidents during our journeys thus far, we have been told of stories about snow avalanches and dirt that could occasionally ruin people's holidays. GPS can always tell you where safety is, in the event that it is aware of what the safest place is. Friendly satellites in space can send GPS in the correct direction. This is why we have another piece of technology that helps us get safely to our campsite. In an emergency, a helicopter could fly over you and zoom into the GPS location. It's not only important to be equipped with GPS when you are traveling away. It's important to remember technology is essential for your everyday life.
