Deciding on the graphics you'd like is the enjoyable and easy aspect, however, applying them is a different matter when you don't know the right instructions.

How to Install Dirtbike Graphics
These are the steps to apply graphics in an easy way that will ensure that your graphics stick.

Dry Installation

2. Cut the backing paper as close to the graphic before attaching it to your dirtbike. The paper backing should be removed from the inside of the vent and bolt holes. Verify that the lines of the holes, vents and the curves of the graphic with the plastic.

3. Remove the backing half Be sure that there is no dust or other debris get on the adhesive side. For side plates cutting the backing vertically and horizontally to make front plates. Choose a 1/2 inch piece of backing, and cut it off. The remaining backing is put on top of the graphic. Then, line it up using holes or edges.

5. Peel back the paper backing from one side, and then hold the image up and away from plastic. Apply slowly by moving your fingers along the graphic. To get rid of air bubbles and wrinkles, you can use heat with the use of a hair dryer or heat gun during this process. Warning: Excessive heat will result in the decal stretching too much and cause distortion to the image.

6. Peel the backing off of the paper from the other side Apply the graphic as described in step 4. For other graphics, follow the same steps.

Wet Installation
1. Be sure to wash your hands, your plastics, and the work area. Clean the plastic on the side and back.

2. Before applying, trim the paper backing around the perimeter, making sure it is as closely as possible (without cutting the graphic). The backing of the paper must be taken away from bolt and vent holes. Check the alignment of the vents, holes, curves, and edges of your graphic against the plastic.

3. Apply a fine mist to your plastic.

4. Remove the backing paper and make sure the adhesive side is clear. Apply a fine mist fluid to spray the adhesive side.

5. The decal can be applied lightly to the plastic while lining the vent holes.

6. Once everything else is set up correctly, begin with the center and employ a squeegee for moving the application fluid to the edges of the plastic.

7. To speed up dryingtime, it is possible to add heat to the squeegee using either a hair dryer. The heat will also help smooth out any bubbles and smooth any wrinkles. Be aware that excessive heat can result in the decal stretching too much and distort the image.

8. Use a clean, dry cloth to clean the extra fluid that remains on the edges of the plastic.

9. It is recommended that you do not ride your quad or dirt motorbike for at least 24 hours in order to ensure proper adhesion of the decal.
