science : The Lymphatic System

Lymphatic System: is a part that work to protect your body and help your body to destroy the bad things that enter your body. The Lymphatic System: work closely with the Circulatory System. There are 4 function that the Lymphatic System make it.
1. absorbs some of the tissue fluid that collect around cells.
2. absorbs fat form the Digestive System and transport them to the Circulatory system.
3. it filters the dead cells, viruses, bacteria and other unneeded particles from the tissue fluid and then returns the tissue fluid to the Circulatory system.
4. it helps fight off illness and infection and includes structure in which white blood cells develop.
Parts of The Lymphatic System.
Lymph: The tissue fluid absorbed by the Lymph Vessels and it called lymph.
lymph nodes: filters the particles from lymph. Large group in the Lymph Nodes are in the Neck, groin and armpits.
lymph vessel: used to moves your body.
Bone Marrow and Thymus.
Lymphocytes are White Blood Cells that destroy the pathogens, pathogens such as ; viruses and bacteria.
Bone Marrow: is where the Red and White Blood Cells, including the lymphocytes. Lymphocytes included B and T cells.
B cells mature in the Bone Marrow.
T cells mature in the Thymus gland.
Thymus: is the organ that where the T cells complete their development.
Spleen ( white blood cells ) ( all blood )
Spleen: is where the recycle worn out Red Blood Cells and produces and store Lymphocytes and also store blood and platelets. Spleen can store blood and platelets in the Circulatory System.
Tonsils
Tonsils: help protect your body from infection by trapping and destroying bacteria and other pathogens that enter you nose and mouth. When you smell a dust you throat will hurt you, the Tonsils try to not let the dust enter your body.
The Lymphatic System and Homeostasis
The Lymphatic System: help your homeostasis by preventing the buildup of tissue fluid, it supports the Circulatory System by cleaning fluid and replacing them in the bloodstream.
