Teams from college athletics can assist to support efforts to fight gambling addiction. College and professional coaches have recognized the need to support players suffering from gambling addiction. It is usually difficult to treat addiction to gambling or even treat it. While there aren't precise data on the amount of people who have a gambling problem but it's safe to say that at least some college athletes have been found to be suffering from addiction to gambling and are combating the issue.
