Dolores Umbridge
Madam Joe Rowling, menggambarkan Dolores Umbridge sebagai seorang yang menyerupai kodok besar dan pucat. Tubuhnya agak gemuk pendek dengan wajah yang lebar menggelambir dan mulut lebar kendur. Matanya besar, bundar dan agak menonjol. Mempunyai suara yang nyaring dan kekanak-kanakan serta gemar memakai pita dan atribut berwarana pink.
Dolores mempunyai kecurigaan tidak mendasar kepada makhluk non-manusia. Dia lah yang menyebabkan orang-orang seperti Lupin kesulitan mendapatkan pekerjaan. Dia ditampilkan dalam Harry Potter dan The Orde of Pheonix dan Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, diperankan oleh Imelda Stautun.
Pertama kali muncul dalam Harry Potter dan The Orde of Pheonix, sebagai asisten senior menteri sihir. Umbridge mengajar PTIH di Hogwarts atas perintah dari Kementrian Sihir. Dia ditunjuk sebagai Inkuisitor Agung Hogwarts yang memberikannya hak untuk mengeluarkan dekrit-dekrit larangan di Hogwarts. Masa-masa Umbridge di sekolah diwarnai dengan kekerasan dan hukuman fisik bagi sisiwa yang melanggar dekritnya.
Pasca perginya Dumbledore dari Hogwarts, Umbridge diangkat menjadi Kepala Sekolah di Hogwarts.
Umbridge kemudian bertemu kawanan Centaurus di hutan terlarang (melalui jebakan Harry dan Hermione). Dia diserang oleh Centaurus yang merasa dihina olehnya. Mungkin jika tidak diselamatkan oleh Dumbledore, Umbridge akan bernasib sama seperti Quirrel alias koit. Umbridge akhirnya dirawat di rumah sakit Hogwarts. Seakan tidak cukup kesialannya, ketika dia menyelinap untuk meninggalkan rumah sakit di malam hari, dia bertemu dengan Peeves. Peeves menggunakan kesempatan tersebut untuk mengejarnya dan kemudian memukulinya dengan tongkat dan kaos kaki penuh kapur. Hahaha.. Umbridge yang malang.
