Murid DSP melakukan penelitian dan Hasil penelitian dikumpulkan dalam bentuk laporan kegiatan.
Untuk memasuki ke Area Dark Forest, Ada beberapa hal penting yang harus dipatuhi yaitu: saat sampai disana dilarang lengah, menyediakan wand, dan mengenakan mantel agar tak kedinginan. Untuk menuju ke dark forest, para murid menyentuh teleport berbentuk crystal.
Suasana di Dark Forest sangat gelap dan dingin, Oleh karena itu murid menggunakan Wand agar suasana menjadi sedikit lebih terang.
Di Dark Forest terdapat sebuah danau dan di belakangnya terdapat tanah lapang yang luas. Makhluk yang terdapat di Dark Forest, salah satunya adalah fairy, mereka sejenis gnome atau yang sering kalian lihat seperti peri rumah, namun mereka menerap di hutan ini (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B_vFv5eVAAIjlSt.png:large)
Untuk memudahkan penelitian, Taka sensei membentuk 3 (Tiga) kelompok sesuai dengan asramanya, yaitu:
1. Katzenaugen (mencari di goa es lalu menggali)

2. Dracheseith (mencari di sekitar danau lalu berenang)
