When you work as a staff member of Amity Foundation's Gift Warehousing Department, you will work with expert consultants, administrative support and experienced management personnel to manage in-kind donations, gifts of funds and personal products. In order to qualify for this position, you must be a U.S. citizen and hold a valid passport or visa. There is no fee for an applicant. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. The goal of the Gift Warehousing Department is to help alleviate poverty, promote education and increase opportunity. We achieve this by collecting, storing, refurbishing and selling donated items to meet our client's immediate needs. We believe that in-kind donations are a form of social investment. By donating to our fund child abuse prevention programs, you are helping to ensure the safety and the well being of our children.

In terms of donations, we offer several services including: used furniture removal, used books removal, used CDs/DVDs removal, electronics recycling and electronic disposal. Used furniture removal is a convenient, hassle-free way of donating unwanted office equipment and other non-perishables to qualified programs. The company's warehouse is located in North Philadelphia, just one block from Center City in West Philadelphia. If you donate old furniture, we will arrange for the pickup and delivery of your items to the appropriate programs. Your donation will go a long way in helping the less fortunate.

We accept cash donations only and cannot accept checks as well as debit cards. We accept cash donations made payable by check or cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discovery and JCB. Please ensure that your checking account has sufficient funds to cover the expected receipt of your donation. To further facilitate our donors, we work closely with the major credit card processors like Visa and MasterCard. We also accept payments through the major credit card networks, including American Express, Discover and Diners Club.

We have an in-kind donation program. This program requires that we first receive a cash deposit, from your donation, before proceeding to the donation processing stage. Once processed, your donated goods are shipped directly to your intended recipients. In-kind contributions include used furniture, used CDs/DVDs, used clothes, and gently used household items. If heat dome map donate products that are in excellent condition, we will process them in-house and ship them to your recipients.

There are limitations on the number of in-kind contributions that a person may make each calendar year. Any person who makes more in-kind donations than the maximum number of in-kind gifts is required to complete a Gift Allocation Contribution Form for approval. All you need to do is fill in the gift allocation form and submit it. In a few hours, you'll find your new source of income as well as a slew of new gifts. Your tax identification number should be printed out on the donation form. Donations are not carried in our trucks but are picked up by our drivers using a special delivery van. Donations can be made in-store, online, by phone or by fax.
