A Snake Catching Guide.
1 - Typically the safest option would be to set a leather trap.
If you can't get the snake yourself, hire a professional snake expert.
When you can absolutely ID a snake and know that it isn't venomous, grabbing it with thick gloves can be one of the easiest ways to catch it. Then relocate it by putting it in a pillowcase.
4 - If you don't want to handle the snake, can't identify it, or cannot reach it, then you can use a snake hook or snake tongs, as shown below.

When you admire your garden in the heat of the day and enjoy spending hours bent over, there is nothing more unnerving than seeing a slimy, long body suddenly slither under your feet. He?s been watching you while you pull rocks and weeds from the soil as you tend to your garden. When you repeat this scenario often enough, you may become nervous when reaching into a thick clump of vegetables, and eventually you will avoid your garden altogether. For someone who loves the fruits of their labor, this abandonment is heartbreaking. I think you should try to catch the snake.
Check to see what kind of snake it is before you attempt to catch it. You must deal with a poisonous snake with a specific touch, if not a professional touch. The snake does not have to be poisonous in order for you to begin.
The first step is to re-enter your garden. If you want to catch the snake, you will need to go there. By using a long branch, yard stick, or fire poker, you will deter the snake. Hold your tool just above the snake's head by keeping its focus on you. Using your other hand, you're going to pick up the snake's tail. Snakes should have the majority of their bodies on the ground. It's best not to pick up snakes by just their tail! As quickly as you can, make sure the snake is facing up. As you hold the serpents tail, the other hand should be holding the stick which holds up the snake's front end. Position yourself in such a way that you can control the reptile's body without putting yourself in danger. Place the snake in a safe area for relocation. The animal must be carried in a pillowcase or container to a safe place by vehicle, if there is no local haven. The head of the snake should be gently pointed in the direction you want the snake to travel. When spilling out of a pillow case, gently allow the snake's body to remain partially covered. Lay the pillowcase on the ground and back away. You can reclaim the linen once the snake has slithered off.
As an alternative, you could try to shoo the snake into a large garbage bag if the above method is too direct. With a broom, guide the snake into the bin. Avoid hitting or pushing the snake; you do not want to cause any injury. By using a bin with smooth sides, you can ensure the snake doesn't climb out and will make it easier to relocate it.
If your snake is indoors, you can remove it using a shirt and a pillowcase. Place your shirt or light blanket over the snake and scoop it up, placing them both inside the pillowcase. In case the snake emerges, place the pillowcase inside a garbage can or large storage container. Cover the container with a lid with air holes.
