The merits and demerits of technology are dependent on the situation. It is undeniable that technology is better in
many ways than it has ever been in the past and there is no denying that we would be lost without it. However,
there are circumstances where its advantages end and disadvantages take over. Technology can be a great thing
but we need to remember that we mustn't let it control our lives either.
Technology has the greatest merits, but it also brings with it some challenges. Advantages include ensuring that
all people in this world are connected and giving us the ability to connect with our loved ones. However, there are
many disadvantages, such as how technology is responsible for making children more sedentary by distracting
them from physical play.
