石英表電池的種類
石英手表電池的種類一般可以分為鋰電池、氧化銀電池、過氧化銀電池、氧化汞電池和太陽能電池這五種。而每一種電池都有其各自的優缺點，不同品牌型號的腕表也是需要配備不同種類的電池。
鋰電池的保存壽命較長。氧化銀電池是石英表中較為常見的電池。過氧化銀電池具有較高的容量。氧化汞電池由於對環境有一定的危害，所以很少有石英表使用瞭。太陽能電池是將光能轉化為電能，較為環保。

石英表電池可以用多久
石英表依據配載的機芯和佩戴實際狀況的不同，一般紐扣電池使用年限為2-3年不等。高檔一些的三針石英表配有電能耗盡預警裝置，當你發現石英表秒針一連跳幾秒的情況，就是供電不足的表現，您需趕快更換電池。而數字顯示電子表則會用閃爍顯示板的方式來表示電池快耗盡。
在石英表電池耗盡時，若不及時更換電池，很可能導致電池漏液，泡壞手表內部零件。

石英表的保養
石英表雖然不像機械表那樣需要全面的清洗上油等完全服務，但也需要在一定時間段內做防水測試、外觀清洗和整機保養。防水測試建議每1-2年做一次，可以在更換電池時一同檢測，如有問題及時處理。
外觀清洗則需要根據日常佩戴的環境和狀態進行，保持手表金屬表面沒有汗漬和污垢，長期集結的污垢會腐蝕表殼表面的金屬層。
整機保養建議每5-7年做一次，有效延長石英表的使用年限。

為什麼不建議自行更換電池？
* 後蓋拆卸需要用到專業儀器工具，不熟練的手法，容易劃傷手表。
* 自行更換電池後，無法保證手表防水性能。
* 自行購買的電池無法保證來源，如裝配非原型號電池，可能會對手表造成損害。
