Кроме технологии Foveated Rendering у PS VR 2 будет и другое подобное решение, выполняющее те же задачи. То есть гарнитура будет отслеживать направление взгляда пользователя, чтобы отрисовывать там более детализированную картинку, что позволит снизить нагрузку на GPU. Будут и некие тактильные технологии, призванные уменьшить ощущение укачивания.
Новые контроллеры получат ёмкостные сенсорные датчики в дополнение к адаптивным триггерам.
