Notes - notes.io

In this lecture, we'll talk FAFSA.
Just like scholarships, it doesn't matter how long you actually study at a university as long as you attend an accredited university. Most students qualify for some type of aid and if you don't need all of it for university, use your refund for methods/exams.
List every college you may attend and and never leave an answer blank. We recommend you try to list 10 universities because from our experience, there is going to be one school where you receive a good offer and offers do vary from school to school.
Your age is irrelevant with this. Most people qualify for some type of aid. Just make sure the university is accredited and list every college in your mind on the FAFSA. APPLY!
While there is a national deadline for FAFSA, each school may impose their own so always apply as soon as possible.
While not applicable for every college, its possible if you apply very late that little to no aid may be available for you. Some schools have $$ limits.
You can use FAFSA to get aid for both undergraduate and graduate schools.
If you don't go to a university you submitted on your FAFSA, not important.
It's better to have it not need it than need it not have it.
Also, appeal your FAFSA amount if you do not agree with it. That's your right.
When entering your financial information, if you are a dependent, make sure you take your funds out of your bank account..
Why? Because the less money you have or say you have, the more likely aid but this depends on circumstances.
Lastly, make sure you apply for FAFSA every year. Billions are unclaimed each year due to students failing to file.

What's the reasoning behind this lecture? Far too many low income students skip out on FAFSA. If you need any more advice or help on this, we are here to help you. Please, without any hesitation, email [email protected] but make sure it is sent from the same email you used to sign up for the course otherwise it will be auto rejected by our systems.
Be sure to include the subject which should be the title of this lecture as well as your name.
FAFSA - Charles for example.
This allows our systems to categorize how important it is based on the subject.
