Don't confront them, but make sure to let them know that you care about them and think that they are struggling with something that can be beaten. If they are open to talking about any of these things and have the desire to get help, you may be able to get them off of gambling for good by offering to help them with whatever they need to do.

Find out what they are doing to combat their addiction and create a plan to make it easier for them. Find out what their goals are in quitting gambling and create a plan that is aligned with that. Once they realize that there is actually hope for them and that there is a way to get away from the casino tables, they may be more willing to make the effort to kick the habit.


Just remember, if you notice that your friend or loved one is withdrawing from having any type of contact with you, don't try and force them to start. They have already suffered enough.
