1. All interested, good standing students whose goals are similar can join after pledging and initiation.
2. pledge status


* Pledge accepted bid
* 2.0 GPA prior and as pledge
* full time, good standing
* duly voted by active
* follow mom's rules
* participate in events

3. pledgeship rules

* know names of actives, hometowns, cabinet position
* psis names
* constitution
* history
* greek alphabet
* "pass it on"

4. active status
a. woman complete pledgeship, receive initiation
b. 2.0 GPA, enrolled nuff units
c. can be in meetings
d. can be elected for office
e. right to vote and debate
f. must attend functions unless class, tell someone
g. only ones to get lil sis, unless stated
h. must be in committee decide by exec council

5. alumna status
a. active 4 years, full time, can be active. or with 2/3 vote be alumna
b. undergrad not here 1+ years is alumna unless 2/3 vote to be active
c. leave school before grad are alumna if paid debt and has been active 1 year
or if she wants to be active, 2/3 vote, present in meeting to say why
d. official grad after one year active member is alumna if debt paid
e. all debts paid to be alumna and be in Installation banq
f. after install banq, once known to be grad senior, is alumna

6. inactive status
a. inactive after 1 yr active or senior, 2/3 vote
b. active for 1 yr must have dire situation, discuss by exec
c. dues of inactive 1/2 active
d. inactives have to attend: rush, informal/formal installs, installation dinner, one fundraising, one comm serv
e. can attend 2 more events, additional = nominal fee by exec
f. meeting not needed, but needs to be on top of stuff
g. can be inactive 2 academic terms. after, has to be: active, associate, voluntary withdrawal
h. to get back active, 2/3 vote needed from other actives

7. associate status
a. can be this after 2 yrs active with grad senior and 2/3 vote
b. full amount paid by active
c. attendance to events optional
d. keep up with stuff like deadlines
e. member in exec can't be this
f. right to vote decide by exec

8. co-op status
a. active member: cooperative edu, internship, study abroad
b. request with formal written letter at gen meeting: reasons, length, etc.
c. can be co-op for max 2 terms, max 1 yr abroad, extraordinary go to exec
d. events optional, nominal fee assessed
e. no dues, keep up with stuff and deadlines
f. 2/3 vote for active to be co-op, for reinstatement, letter and 2/3 vote

9. transfer school
a. transfer for edu reason - allowed if active status
b. isn't active, will be inactive
c. unable to be inactive, an active for 1 yr, she can be alumna. if not active 1 yr, discuss by exec
d. transfer because AP, dismissed until she does well in other school
e. transfer doesn't have lil sis unless she goes to school with chapter
f. can't run for office unless school has chapter

10. probational status, academic
a. AP member is probation with CDT
b. probation must follow:
1. if quarter
i. pledge - attend 4 events per term. winter 1/4 is fundraising, spring 3/4 is formals, installs, fundraising
complete pledge reqs
ii. active - attend 4 events, fall - 2/4 is rush and informals. winter 1/4 is fundraising. spring 3/4 is formals, installs, fundraising
2. if semester
i. pledge - 6 events, fall 2/6 fundraising. spring 3/6 must be formals, installs, fundrasing. complete pledge req
ii. active - 6 events, fall 3/6 rush, formal, fundraising. spring 3/6 is formals, installs, fundraising
3. officer, status talk with exec
4. probation for 2nd, can attend mandatory events
5. probation for 3rd, academic inactive following bylaw 1, action 6, ABCE
6. AP required to pay full dues
7. member or pledge can't attend socials

11. probational status, non-academic
A. placed if inapproprate rep of sorority or herself
B. procedure:
1. written complaint to exec because of
a. violation of constitution/bylaws
b. behavior -greek
c. hazing
d. alcohol/substance abuse
2. exec convene to decide if NAP - member can attend in defense
3. NAP pass 2/3 vote exec, told in writing, reason, terms, and length
terms: loss of rights (vote, voice in meeting, attend socials, mandatory comm service hours req)
4. assure due process, appeal NAP to chapter with minutes - 2/3 vote needed to overturn exec
C. NAP follows:
1. pledge - activation suspended until off probation and complete pledge
2. active - no socials, participate in committee by exec
3. officer - removed from office
4. decide length probation, min 1 academic term
5. NAP status can't wear sorority letters
6. Any member can be on NAP status or expelled for bad conduct not reflecting constitution or org. offense put in writing, submit by member. after submission, offense member right to hearing in exec and reg meeting.
7. after probational period, 3/4 vote approval to be active
8. If 3/4 vote not gained, cut off from CDT
9. dues of NAP 1/2 active member.

12. voluntary withdrawal
a. permanent separation from relation and mutual obligations of CDT
b. request written letter in gen meeting. reasons for withdrawal, with pin, book, properties of CDT at request
c. reinstatement, letter must be presented to chapter containing evidence reason for withdrawal no longer exist, 2/3 vote active

13. involuntary withdrawal
a. permanent separation relation and mutual obligations
b. actions:
1. not upholding constitution
2. misrepresentation of sorority, chapter, sisters, uni, community, or herself
3. being involved in criminal action
c. state case, 3/4 vote
d. after vote, 2 weeks appeal withdrawal
e. can't attend function or meeting, unless approved by exec
f. 3/4 vote obtained for appeal to be passed
g. vote passed, put on NAP
h. if involuntarily withdrawn, return pledge book and pin, active book and pin, pay debt

14. dismissal
a. member dismissed from uni dismissed from CDT
b. admitted back from uni, 2/3 vote to be NAP for 1 term. status after to be determine by exec

15. probational status, financial
a. if can't pay dues set by treasurer due to extreme circumstance, placed on financial probation
b. status of FP determine by prez and treasurer
c. member shall follow inactive status plus:
a. pledge - not attain active status until full pay
b. active or inactive - follow revised payment plan or all of following
a. plan 2 fundraising events with chair
b. raise amnt $ said by treasurer
c. max % determine by prez/treasurer of funraised will be subtracted from member's balance, determine T
d. fails to plan event, follow consequence by exec

16. non-voting members
a. non-voting members shall be pledges, inactive, alumna, voluntary withdrawn, probational, dismissed

17. status change prerequisites
a. any active member want inactive, associate, co-op status, shall have paid debts before asking at gen meeting
b. if member is in financial burden, arrangements made with treasurer
1. payment made 4 weeks before status requested
2. if member doesn't follow payment arrangements, no status request until paid
c. reqs added to those in bylaw I, sections 678
