For a long time, I have been searching for a great mechanic to repair my car. Last year, I ran across Quincy Auto Repair and I was very impressed with the service they provided. They are located in Urbana, IL and they accept pre-paid debit cards. I purchased a catalytic converter from them and really was amazed at the standard of work that they provided.


I have been wanting to get my hands on a more recent, high performance catalytic converter since I purchased my last vehicle several years ago. Even though I've had other auto repair shops do the job for me personally, I was still happy with the results that I acquired from Quincy Massachusetts. The technician that worked on my car was very professional and extremely proficient in his job. After he installed the catalytic converter, he explained that he usually does this sort of work on cars that are a couple years old. He also advised me to expect a small fee for the work.

After speaking with him for some time, I decided to go on it into my own hand and have him test it out for. Needless to say, it was not just a very big deal and I was happy with the results. However, before he started, he warned me in regards to a few things. He explained that when I did not like what he suggested to me, then I should simply tell him. I'm sure that he'd rather have me working for him and fixing his cars instead of letting someone else do it.


I'm sure there are other places you could go if you wanted to buy a new catalytic converter. However, when I took it into my own hands, it turned out that this is not where I'd want to go. I'm a bit of a safety person and I don't actually want to play around with the cars an excessive amount of. So, if I'm going to do any kind of repair on the car, I would like to make sure that it is done by somebody who knows what they're doing.


Well, I'm sure he knew what he was doing too because he gave me the run-down on precisely what was wrong with the car. I was able to tell that the issue was with the catalytic converter. That's when I informed him that I wasn't likely to take it to some other auto repair shop. I would fix it myself.


He told me that he would need to see me to make sure that the car was actually broken down to the core. So, I took the car in to the shop. The mechanic was nice enough to allow me to do so but I told him that I needed to be the one to do the task. He didn't seem to mind though because he said that he had everything under warranty and he'd fix the car for only $1500. That's pretty cheap in comparison to some cars.


After completing the task, I was extremely happy. The car felt much smoother and was running like a new car. When I took it out, I told everyone that I had just purchased a new catalytic converter. Everyone was amazed. Even my mechanic was amazed.

It's always been a dream of mine to own my very own car. In this day and age, that dream has turned into a reality. It's been plenty of effort but I'm glad that everything is finally perfect. I told everybody that if they ever need anything done in Quincy that I'd be there for them. That's just what has happened as I'm now proud owner of a gorgeous newer and much better looking car.
