Sekadar informasi, nilai Etherum sendiri sempat menyentuh US$4000 per koin tetapi sekarang turun di kisaran US$2.400. Konsumsi listrik Ethereum lebih rendah ketimbang menambang Bitcoin.
Philip Hughes juga mulai menyewakan fasilitas energi terbarukan tersebut. Biayanya sekitar 18.000 pounds di mana setipa rig diisi dengan banyak kartu grafis komputer yang sangat kuat.
