Stari Most

One of Mostar's and Bosnia's most famous sites certainly is the Stari Most, or' Old Bridge'. The bridge was built because of the Ottomans in the 16th century and is exemplary of typical Islamic architecture and fine engineering. It crosses over the gorgeous turquoise Neretva river, and is at the heart of Mostar's historic Old Town


Blagaj Monsatery

A very short drive south of Mostar is the little village of Blagaj. Within Blagaj is the famous tekija, or perhaps monastery, which was created by Dervish monks in the 16th century. The monastery is nestled at the foot of a cliff face area, looking within a beautiful pool, and exemplifies timeless Ottoman architecture, with its wooden window frames and overhanging roof.


The' Don't Forget' Stone This small stone is found near to the Stari Most, as well as is a reminder of the municipal war. As tourists visit the spectacular town of Mostar, it is important not to skip the point that terrible atrocities were committed here relatively recently,


Car�ija In the heart of Mostar's picturesque Old Town is its market, or even car�ija. It was once inhabited by the noble Muslibegovic family life, plus today he is both a luxury resort and museum. The interior is according to traditional eastern styles, such as Ottoman rugs, white walls and wooden furnishings.
