These 12 tricks will improve your flirting game

1. Trust your instincts. Confidence is the best thing. Your crush (and everyone else) will take notice if you're strutting down the halls like you own them. You will attract your crush to the girl who recognizes she is something special.

5. It's okay to ignore your crush, but only for a short time. It's counterintuitive, isn't it? But imagine running into your crush and a group of their friends at McDonald's. Say hi to their friends first and strike up a convo. Your crush will be a bit disappointed, but you can make it up for it by including them (and making their day).


6. Learn how to master the bump-and flatter. "Accidentally" run into a hottie at a crowded party. You can even laugh and say, "Oh my God. I become a total klutz around cute people." They will be instantly impressed and eager to learn more about you. Then, introduce yourself and initiate a conversation.


7. Let them catch you looking at them. It seems very scary. When someone notices you staring at them, they usually turn away quickly to not realize you were actually eating a hamburger. But, next time, try this instead. You can have all the confidence you need. When your crush notices you, smile at them and maybe even wink. This will let your crush know that you are confident enough to invite you to dinner.


8. Take a look at their clothes. Ask about any band shirts or sports jerseys they are wearing. This will show that you are interested in their lives and will spark a conversation.


9. Sometimes be obvious. You might be playing frisbee at the park when you accidentally throw it towards the girls near you. Exaggerated apologies can be used to let them know you aren't just flirting (and in on a joke), and could even lead to a discussion.

10. Introduce your friend. If you're afraid to initiate a convo on your own, you can bring your friend along to introduce her to your crush. Although it may sound strange, sometimes it is easier to approach someone for another person.


11. Before you meet them, flirt. Text your crush, "You should be wearing that blue shirt tonight. It will make your eyes shine! :) A flirty message lets them know you are thinking of them and makes them want to see you again. You can also see if they take your advice to gauge their interest in you.

12. To break the ice, start with something simple. If you are thinking about picking up lines, the only ones coming to your door are likely super lame, recycled ones. "Did it hurt...when your fell from heaven?" Or: How much does an elephant weigh? Just enough to ice the conversation! You don't have to be perfect if you try to play it easy but fail.
