Gnome adalah satwa gaib yang ber KKM XX. Makhluk ini wujudnya seperti manusia kecil yang memiliki tingkat kecerdasan yang rendah. Gnome umumnya ditemukan di Utara Eropa dan Utara Amerika. Memiliki ukuran sekitar satu kaki (lebih
kecil dari Erkling). Berwarna coklat & kepala yang besar
sehingga seperti kentang berkaki. Nama ilmiah dari
Gnome adalah Gernumbli Gardensi, nama itu diberikan oleh Xenophilius Lovegood.
Biasanya para penyihir memiliki Gnome untuk mengurus kebun mereka dan mengusir hama yang
mengganggu. Namun karena intelegasi yang rendah, Gnome lebih cenderung mengacak-acak kebun tersebut. Cara mengusir gnome ada 2 yaitu dengan
memutar-mutar mereka melewati kebun dan juga dengan Jarvey.
Gnome juga dapat bersuara dan mengatakan “Gerroff me” atau yang berarti “lepaskan aku”. Gnomeholes
adalah sebutan untuk tempat tinggal gnome. Mereka
menggali dan memakan akar tanaman. Beberapa orang percaya bahwa air liur Gnome memiliki khasiat untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan dan dapat menjernihkan suara yang meminumnya.
