B. Detektif
Detektif adalah seseorang yang melakukan penyelidikan terhadap suatu kejahatan
● Dalam film-film muggle, biasanya detektif muncul dengan gaya khasnya. Dengan topi pinggiran lebar, jas hujan panjang dengan sepucuk pistol (senjata muggle, logam seukuran telapak tangan dan mengeluarkan suara bising) tersembunyi di dalamnya.
● Di dunia kita penyirih, detektif itu lebih tepatnya seperti Auror.
● Sebenarnya ada dua macam detektif : detektif polisi (polisi adalah sebutan untuk Auror bagi kaum muggle) dan detektif swasta.
● Detektif polisi adalah Auror muggle biasa yang tidak melakukan tugas lapangan. Artinya, detektif polisi tidak berpakaian seragam dan banyak melakukan tugas pengintaian.
● Detektif swasta, adalah jenis detektif yang sering muncul di film-film muggle.
● Karena pekerjaan utamanya adalah mengamati
dan mengintai, maka jam kerja seorang
detektif tidak teratur & wilayah kerjanya
pun bermacam-macam.
Detektif memiliki 3 spesialisasi yaitu :
1. Bidang Hak Intelektual : kasus yang ditangani sang detektif adalah produk ciptaan yang ditiru oleh muggle lain sehingga detektif harus mencaru bukti pembajakan hak cipta.
2. Bidang Hukum : pekerjaan detektif ini adalah mengumpulkan bukti dan mewawancarai saksi dari suatu kasus di pengadilan muggle
3. Bidang Perusahaan : pekerjaan detektif ini adalah menyelidiki apakah di satu perusahaan ada karyawan yang terlibat obat bius. Dan menjaga rahasia perusahaan.
