He hopes that the Assemblyman's bill will be brought in the 2021 session. There is no timeframe for the vote that has been set as of yet. The reason for this delay is that there are many more pieces of legislation that need to be done before gambling can begin in a recreational manner.


It would be interesting to see how the bill could affect the current Las Vegas licensed sports books in the event that it becomes law. A few have begun to look at their legal grey zone options to ensure that they would continue to be able offer their services in Nevada. Others could follow their lead and create new revenue streams with the introduction of gambling and betting legislation.

Certain state legislators seem to have legalized sports betting on their thoughts. This could result in legalization of betting in other regions of the United States. Online betting and gambling are a hot topic right now and sports bettors are discussing which countries have the best chances, or best business model, for their businesses. Legalizing online gambling may be key to opening the door to greater betting options for Americans. It's just a matter time before all 50 states regulate and tax online gambling.
