Ringkasan tentang Gnome (Jembalang)
1. Gnome (Gernumbli Gardensi) Adalah hama yang biasa mendiami kebun rumah-rumah penyihir. Gnome ditemukan di seluruh Eropa dan Amerika Utara.
2. Ciri Fisik:
- Berukuran sekitar satu kaki (lebih kecil dari Erkling)
- Berwarna coklat
- Kepalanya besar sehingga terlihat seperti kentang berkaki
3. Klasifikasi Kementrian Sihir : XX (tidak berbahaya atau bisa dijinakan).
4. Habitat : gnomeholes (lubang gnome, seperti liang di bawah tanah)
5. Makanan : Akar tanaman. Mereka menggali tanah lalu memakan akar tanaman.
6. Karena merupakan hama tanaman tentu Gnome perlu dibasmi, cara pembasmiannya ada 2 :
- memutar-mutar mereka lalu melemparnya melewati kebun , atau
- menggunakan Jarvey (satwa gaib menyerupai musang yang dapat berbicara dan pemangsa gnome), namun beberapa penyihir beranggapan bahwa cara ini terlalu brutal.
7. Keterangan tambahan :
- Air liur gnome bisa membuat pita suara dan juga tenggorokan si peminum menjadi jernih dan suaranya menjadi sangat merdu, tinggi dan nyaring.
- Gnome juga dapat bersuara dan mengatakan "Gerroff me"(lepaskan aku).
