There is no real count of time in the 'Old Testament' in reference to B.C or A.D or pretty much any other point fixed and know to the 'Old Testament' authors so the matter is more complicated than it seems.

If 1 Kings 6:1 is correct, the exodus occurred 480 years prior to the laying of the foundations of Solomon's temple, though Solomon's temple was handled in his 4th year (966 B.C) So according to the biblical chronological data, it was taken place during 1446

In the exodus account in the 'Old Testament' it is not mentioned the Pharaoh's name, Which is strange because of the fact Moses is the author he could have named the Pharaoh (Please refer to the fact that he was raised in the Pharaoh's household.)

Egyptians at that time used a astronomical cycle called the Sothic cycle, and thus many scholars today argue about the reliability of the Sothic cycle dating

According to the standard chronology many critical scholars think that Rameses II is the pharaoh of the exodus but there are some problems with identifying Rameses II as the pharaoh of the exodus, Such as he was one of the longest reigning kings in Egypt as Merrill points out, "If his death had brought Moses back to Egypt, the exodus would have taken place after 1236, a date to late to satisfy anyone"

From considerations from the chronological biblical text, It seems very possible that Amenhotep I was the pharaoh who issued all firstborn male Hebrews to be killed.
