- vampir ada yang meminum darah. namun ada pula yang meminum darah hewan saat tidak ada darah manusia yang bisa di minumnya. namun, hasrat untuk meminum darah manusia tetap ada.
Sifat vampir secara umum
-Pendendam. vampir memiliki sifat yang sulit untuk memaafkan. contohnya saat dia kehilangan pasangan hidupnya, dia akan terus meminta pertanggung jawaban vampir lain yang telah memusnahkan pasangannya itu.
- Licik. untuk memenuhi keinginannya kadang kala vampir melakukan hal-hal licik. contohnya, Aro membunuh adiknya, untuk membuat marcus tetap tinggal di klan volturi.
- Ambisius. contohnya: Aro ingin membuat klan volturi menjadi satu satunya klan vampir yang berkuasa sehingga dia merekrut para vampir yang memiliki bakat khusus.
-Setia. Vampir hanya memiliki satu pasangan hidup seumur hidupnya.
