Exchange process

We understand that you want to buy a product on exchange offer and we are sorry for the trouble you had to go through.

We would like to let you know that we will need some details about your old phone, so please fill out the Exchange Offer form. We also recommend you run the phone functionality test on the Flipkart App.

A phone that has passed all the checks will be eligible for a higher exchange value. You'll then see the effective final price of the phone you wish to purchase. Post that, the wishmaster will make a few checks during the time of delivery after which you can hand in your phone to our wishmaster at the time of delivery.

However, to avail exchange below are the guidelines to be followed :

- Check if Exchange offer is valid for the product.
- Should select the accurate Model, IMEI number, Serial number and the working condition of the product.
- Pay the discounted amount listed on the website.
- You will have to furnish the same product as opted during the purchase to FE while Delivery.
- You have to keep the products charged for the FE to check.
- Take a backup of the data before handing it over to the FE.
- You cannot avail the exchange once the order is placed without the offer. i.e. Once an exchange order is placed, You cannot convert an exchange order to a regular order by withholding the exchange product and giving the cash equivalent to FE. The only possibility is to cancel the exchange order and place a regular order.

Below are the detailed guidelines for wishmaster:

The wishmaster will check the exchange item before the new item is handed over to you. Listed below are the checks that will be followed.

- IMEI number on mobile matches against IMEI number entered by you.
- Brand of mobile matches the brand entered by you.
- Mobile stays powered on without charger for 30 seconds.
- Mobile screen is not broken.
- The screen lock should not be active (all types of screen locks like pattern, pin, password, fingerprint, face recognition, smart lock, etc should be de-activated).
- The i-Cloud account should be unlocked for iPhones.

For your reference, we request to you kindly follow the below steps for exchange offer -

1. Check if Exchange offer is valid for the product.
2. Should select the accurate Model, IMEI number, Serial number and the working condition of the product.
3. Pay the discounted amount listed on the website.
4. You will have to furnish the same product as opted during the purchase to wishmaster while Delivery.

7. 8. For all phones, the screen lock should not be active ( all forms of screen lock viz; pattern, pin, password, fingerprint, face recognition, smart Lock, etc needs to be de--activated).
9. For Apple iPhones, i-cloud account is unlocked.

We also would like to let you know that products with the following issues will not be picked up:

1. Power Issue - Not switching on
2. Dead pixels, spots, lines or static on any part of the screen/display
3. Crack on the screen, light emitting from the side of the screen
4. Crack on the panel, dents in the body, swollen handset and buttons missing
5. Charging port damaged

We would like to let you know that at the time of delivery of the new product, our Flipkart executives will perform certain checks accordingly to the selection made by you at the time of availing the exchange offer.

Also, we would like to let you know if your existing washing machine qualifies for Exchange, click on the 'Buy With Exchange' tab on the new washing machine page. Also, enter your pincode to check if exchange is available in your location. Next, check if your existing washing machine can indeed be exchanged. Find out its exchange value by selecting Washing Machine brand, type (Semi-Automatic, Fully Automatic-Top Load, Fully Automatic- Front Load) & Capacity (<=6Kgs, 67Kgs). Please note that working Washing Machines (as per the your declaration) with no physical damage will be eligible for exchange and for non-working Washing Machines (as per the your declaration) with no physical damage will be eligible for exchange

Products which will not be picked up

In case the product is declared "working" washing machine

* Product doesn't switch on
- The drum doesn't spin.
- The product has any damage both internal or external body of the washing machine. (damages include cracks or broken parts/doors).
- The product has visible rust in any part of the body (including bottom part)
- The product has visible dents in any part of the body

* In case the product is declared "not working" washing machine.

- The product has any damage both internal or external body of the washing machine. (damages include cracks or broken parts/doors).
- The product has visible rust in any part of the body (including bottom part)
- The product has visible dents in any part of the body

The product must be genuine and should not be counterfeit, free from all encumbrances, liens, attachments, disputes, legal flaws, exchange or any agreement of sale etc.

However, if your exchange item does not qualify for pick up, you can still get your new product by paying an additional amount (equivalent to the discount that you got for your exchange item) in cash at the time of delivery of your new device.

To know if your existing refrigerator qualifies for Exchange, click on the 'Buy With Exchange' tab on the new refrigerator page. Also, enter your pincode to check if exchange is available in your location. Next, check if your existing refrigerator can indeed be exchanged. Find out its exchange value by selecting refrigerator brand, type (Single Door, Double Door, etc.) & capacity (180-250 Ltrs, 250-330 Ltrs, etc). Please note that working Refrigerators with no physical damage will be eligible for exchange and for non-working Refrigerators with no physical damage will be eligible for exchange

Products which will not be picked up

- The product has any damage both internal or external body of the refrigerator. (damages include cracks or broken parts/doors).

- The product has visible rust in any part of the body (including bottom part)
- The product has visible dents in any part of the body
