Licienciado en Economía por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, también posee graduación en Ciencias y Técnicas de la Comunicación por la Universidad Iberoamericana, además de especializaciones en Medios de Comunicación por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y en Antropología por la Universidad Iberoamericana.
Por 25 años, estuvo a cargo de varios proyectos en TV Azteca, como editor, reportero y conductor, con destaque para el noticiario 'Hechos del 7' y la serie documental 'Revelaciones'. Fue Jefe de Redacción de Editorial Posada, Jefe de Publicaciones de la Dirección de Difusión y Prensa de la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores.
Hasta la fecha, analisa la realidad empresarial y perspectivas financiera desde su aspecto local hasta el global para el Noticiero Primera Emisión en Promomedios. También es titular del periódico El Informador, donde escribe [semanalmente?].
