Discuss night meds.

The low grade fever I have been telling you about for a few months was probably the staph infection growing in my right sinus. My normal temp has always been 97.5. Running 99.5 is like a normal person running a temp of 101.5. I know that you told me you weren't concerned about it but I wish we could have caught it sooner.

As with the blood clot in my leg, my body does not react normally which was indicated by no swelling in that leg and I think you were surprised by finding a clot. Right leg has been hurting lately as the left did long before I mentioned it to you. My bad.

Not thrilled with ENT, Dr. Pruitt. He won't answer my questions. I was unable to make an appointment with Dr. Knox. They don't like for one to which doctors there. I go back to him in a couple of weeks. This staph or something is affecting my right eye. The vision is blurred at times and the eyeball aches and as I mentioned to you on my last visit, my right eye doesn't open as widely as the left. This along with the low grade fever only seems to occur after 6:00 p.m.

I need you to please, please speak personally with Ronald Laub regarding my extreme high tolerance to sedation and to all medicine in general. The last procedure he performed he told me that he gave me 10 times the usual sedation drug and I still tried to take the needle from his hand. I know that doctors hear patients say all the time that they have a high tolerance, but unfortunately with me it is very real. This also applies to antibiotics. In Dallas I usually had to take antibiotics in an IV.

Can we increase the Diladid once more? I seem to handle that med well in that I can't tell I have taken it but I still experience pain. On our first office visit I asked that your reduce the Fioricet to two pills a day without codeine. I would like to go back to three a day WITH codeine as I took for years prior to seeing you. I just want to bring my pain to a very low level. That I think I could handle.

Dr. Young I feel very fortunate to have found you and in time you will realize how my body reacts or doesn't react to treatment. All I ask is that you hear me and not expect the norm.
