How did the first telephone come about? Alexander Graham Bell figured out how to transmit the currents, which caused the voices to go through to another telephone. He got his invention a patent in 1876. But, people at first did not immediately put it in their homes. Some people like a legislator tested it out.

After the telephone came out, over 300,000 citizens used it to communicate in Wisconsin alone. Of course, these numbers grew. People had telephones everywhere whether it'd be their home or in a building, it was there for you to use. Others did have ideas before him but they didn't quite invent it yet. In 1877, Gardiner Hubbard created a group called Bell Telephone Company for Alexander. Alexander got profit from this as he was included.

After gaining so much success, Alexander then sold off most of his stock. He later invented other things. The telephone improved and years later, we now have cellphones thanks to Alexander and others ideas.

The telephone was a huge success. Alexander Graham Bell introduced people to something they've probably dreamed about and made it a reality. It changed the future for the better, as we have technology improvements thanks to inventors like Alexander.
