2/12/13-4/19/13: Completed 10 week hands-on rotation at Dr. Haines Family Dentistry Office in Daleville PA
Duties: Assisted in extractions (surgical/non-surgical), root canals, restorations (amalgams/composites), as well as placed restorations, set up operatory for each procedure, cleaned the operatory after the procedure, also set up each room for the specific procedure being performed for each individual patient, poured and trimmed dental casts, took impressions, sterilization of instruments, exposed/processed/mounted radiographs, provided pre-and-post operative instructions, charted restorations and took notes for patients charts, mixed and poured dental materials for procedures/impressions, and kept track of supplies.
