Rouleete, the place I love to visit, is often called the pearl of the French Alps. I was fortunate to be able spend many happy years in this little corner. It is a place I can truly relax and revitalize, far from the bustle and bustle of Paris. So what is so special about Rouleete? It is where did it come from?
It is not difficult for you to find the origins of the little town. It is located on the shore, at the southern end of the Loire River. It is a popular stopover point for holidaymakers travelling from Paris or the South. It is also a rather small harbour town, only a couple of kilometres long from the majestic French Alps. But that's not the only thing. Like many of the old and historic French villages that dot the Loire Valley, its origins go back to the medieval period.
The first mention of the town of roulette (or roule) comes from the Medieval History when the area was part of the feudal kingdom of France. King Louis IV gave some land to the construction of a port and later a settlement for trading and fishing in the 12th century. A fascinating historical fact is that roulette was actually a border town between Avignon, Tours. The towns are often referred to as being next to one another, but they were in fact separate entities at the time.
Visitors to the charming little town known as roulette may wonder how the name roule came to be. The simple answer to this question is that 'roule' was derived from a French word that meant 'little ruse,' or a 'playwith a Ruse. The origins of the term rouleette come from a French gambling event and gaming event in Roulettes, just outside Paris in the early 20th Century. There, the local crowd was invited to play an elaborate game of Roulette, and the winners of which would then claim the town's prize money, hence the 'roulelette wheel'.
So where can one experience the thrill and excitement of the game, then? For the amateur poker player, the Rouleete attractions include the famous roulette spins where the wheels spin around fifteen numbers on the vertical axis and fifteen numbers on the horizontal axis. Another attraction is the vast collection of classic old-world and renaissance painting that can be seen while one visits the historic square that serves the center of the town. The town is lively and vibrant, and the cobblestone streets are lined by shops and cafes for a pleasurable shopping experience.
The casino, which was built entirely with authentic French architecture, is the second most popular attraction for amateur poker players. This casino is not as authentic as the ones you'll find in your local casinos. However, when you do make an appearance at the Roulette table, you will be treated to an adrenaline rush that you may only get at the Roulette in Rouleete. The excitement, the thrill and the winnings - these are all factors that contribute to the attraction of Rouleete, the little town that packs a punch.
Rouleete is not only home to casinos, but also has many other attractions, landmarks, and attractions that make it a fascinating place to visit. You should not plan for every outcome of a game roulette. The game is unpredictable and you should plan for the possibility that the wheels may stop at any point. The underground rail system, which runs through the town connects all the sections. Despite this useful function, however, the railway is merely a distraction from all the other attractions that make Rouleete a unique place to visit.
Rouleete is the town's main attraction. Although the track is not exactly a walk in the park, it offers excellent racing action for almost every type of participant. The race gets more exciting as the crowd becomes more involved. Rouleete has many shops and restaurants to offer all its residents and visitors.
