The Autorebilling module simplifies account management through automated billing and the ability to manage multiple users.
BlueSnap provides third-party integrations for a variety of eCommerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, and WordPress. They can also integrate with other third-party apps like Salesforce, Drupal and more. Company Background
BlueSnap was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of Plimus, Inc. In 2011 Great Hill Partners acquired the company for $115 million when it was then renamed BlueSnap. Unfortunately, a series of financial and other scandals were brought to light towards the end of 2011. The company has since been struggling with reputation issues and failed to find their footing again after the scandal rocked them.
In 2012, the decision was made to change the company name to BlueSnap rather than Plimus. The bad press Plimus had received a while back was something they really wanted to leave behind and distance themselves from it. They also replaced some top level management who didn’t seem to be as competent and as professional as they wanted in order to grow their business at an even faster rate. BlueSnap has a long list of prohibited activities which should keep them away from the problems they had run into with Plimus in the past - but these steps should not be considered guarantees against future problems however. BlueSnap is run by smart professionals whose aims are clear – “To give customers exceptional service, enable them to realize their goals for growth, drive improved collaboration and streamline processes.”

BlueSnap Rebranding
It’s important to at first take a closer look at BlueSnap’s sales tactics, particularly the name change when evaluating the company. While a name change alone isn’t reason enough to reduce a score, there is some speculation out there that suggests BlueSnap changed its name from Plimus in an attempt to escape from bad publicity surrounding the Plimus business name. This strategy is slightly deceptive. Its parent company hid the fact that BlueSnap was its part through using a domain name that would have invited different associations with the same name. On its website, BlueSnap goes to great lengths to conceal its authoritative ties to Plimus, lending credibility to the claims that it changed its name to dodge the negative complaints it had attracted.
