Kegiatan ekskul cheers terbagi tiga; latihan, tampil dan juga cheer camp battle. Masing-masing kegiatan ini punya cara sendiri juga.
1. Latihan.
Kalau cheers iRL kan pakai fisik, kalau kita jadi cukup belajar materi seperti gerakan-gerakan dan posisi apa saja yang ada. Bisa juga ditambah untuk belajar rhyme agar saat membuat yel-yel lebih bagus lagi. Materi ini juga mengajarkan langkah-langkah untuk cheer battle nanti. Seperti bagaimana caranya, sistem penilaian, dsb.
2. Tampil.
Cheer akan tampil setiap tim basket/softball mengadakan pertandingan. Di sini yel-yel lebih ditonjolkan daripada gerakan maupun posisi. Setiap anak akan ada jatah meneriakkan yel-yel, dan ada juga yel-yel bersama yang isinya sama. Yel-yel ada yang dibuat sendiri, ada juga yang dibuat barengan; menjadi salah satu tugas anggota cheers.
3. Cheer battle.
Dalam cheer battle akan dibagi per kelompok. Sekali battle akan ada 2 kelompok yang bertanding, mulai dari adu gerakan, posisi, dan juga performa. Cheer battle ini menggunakan sistem battle dengan nilai rage & spirit (RG/SP) yang dilombakan. Jumlah anggota per kelompok akan menentukan score awal mereka. Setiap posisi dan gerakan akan memiliki efek rage & spirit masing-masing (untuk detil efeknya sedang dalam proses).
Rage: nilai untuk tim sendiri, digunakan untuk melakukan serangan
Spirit: nilai untuk tim lawan, nilai yang diserang. Bila spirit tim lawan sudah 0 makan tim itu akan kalah.
Di sini penonton juga akan berperan dalam hal memberikan dukungan. Bagi tim yang spiritnya sudah nyaris habis bisa dibantu penonton dengan cara mendapatkan retweets (5 retweets = +1 spirit / semacamnya). Maka dari itu, performa tim yang bagus tentunya akan lebih mudah menarik penonton untuk mensupport.
