1. Library for 20 minutes, Use the time to check out a book and read independently.
2. English: p. 258-260 #1-28. Follow directions for each section and complete on a separate sheet of paper.

*Dashes(----) show a break of thought in a sentence
*Parentheses ( ) enclose information that is not important to the sentence
3. Literature: Birdwing: Read “The Wild” p. 148-151. Submit on Edmodo.
*Just as you did yesterday, write a summary about the chapter using the transition words first, next, then, last.
*Choose 5 vocabulary words from the chapter and find their definitions.
*Next, select 3 important or meaningful quotes from the chapter. Copy the quote and include the page number. Write a short paragraph response to EACH quote.
