<br>Not only was he a highly esteemed vocal artist with Columbia Records, but also a film star. As a matter of fact, he had earned himself an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award.

<br>He was left with severe scarring from birth, even a punctured eardrum, after being delivered with forceps.

<br>He and John F. Kennedy were good friends.
