The year 2021 for most people can be their worst year for their future plans had stopped or changed, businesses that gone bankrupt, or people who lost their job because of the Covid/ pandemic, but for some people the year 2021 help them grow as a person or an adult, such as knowing focusing on their needs than wasting money on their wants, being creative on recycling things and being more responsible to their health.
In my case 2021 is like a roller coaster where as it changes me as a student, a friend, a son, a man, and as a Filipino citizen. There are a lot of things I appreciate for the past year but the most I really appreciate is living in the province. For I am was born and grow in Manila, I live like a city kid spending my money on the things I want. Living in the province helped me to open my eyes in reality that money is hard to get, you need to sacrifices things to earn money such as sacrificing your time with your family and some dirty their hands just to earn money to feed their family.
The second thing I appreciated is that learning different skills in times of lock down. I'm glad that lockdown happened for it helped me to learn different set of skills which I believe are my treasures that won't be stolen from me. These skills are driving 2 wheels, 4 wheels, cooking, washing of clothes, planting and identifying herbs, and a lot more.
The last thing the I most appreciated of last year is that I choose the right school and right course for college. All my life I regretted my decisions for I know I should have a better life if and only if I can turn back the time and change all of it. Meeting my classmates I know that I can do better and learn more skills to them while sharing my knowledges. This is the first in a while to have classmates and friends in school who won't talk back at you or destroy your image.
