We have moved to the quartzite AZ Desert. First into a campground and then to BLM off Plumosa Road.
Well, sunny peaches, where are we girl somewhere, we're at girl, say we're at plumosa, yeah, quartzite, arizona, plumosa, hey folks today, we're starting our video out at park, place rv 250, north wiggles avenue, quartzite, arizona so prior to sunny peaches and i headed into the desert. I wanted to park in a campground and get the lay of the land now right up. Here is i-10 and here's an arco or a 1-9 station. So it's right off i-10. I believe it was exit 19. I believe it was anyway. It was coming from the east, it was the first quartzite exit and you simply take the exit and head north and come right up here. This is wriggles com, rv community next door, and here we have park place rv. What a nice place. I got a nice game room in here. This is uh like a laundry a dollar 25 to dry. I think it was a dollar fifty to wash um not far from downtown, maybe maybe like three miles - maybe three miles uh when you pull in you register over here, and they got a nice little dog park all the way down on the left. The rates are really good, they're, also a there's, a mask required to walk inside and they have a library with showers and a laundry i pulled in and spoke to the lady and she got me hooked up. Here'S our camper here down here is the little dog park and over this way, uh point. Eight tenths of a mile is the big quartzite dog park, so you could actually walk there. If you were feeling energetic, i mean the roads around here aren't busy at all. They got a fireplace pit here and a couple picnic tables. This is not part of the park, that's the wriggles park, but it's it's quite nice. I got really good satellites place, has a full hookup with uh water, sewage, electric 15, 30 amp and 20 amp and yeah for passport america. I won't quote the price, but i'll tell you what in in january, they don't offer. Here we go in january. They don't uh, they don't take passport america because it's the busy season down here um, but i'm telling you i'm in here for less than 20 bucks a day and i am a stone's throw from the blog park. Uh quartzite is like i said about three miles. Maybe three miles downtown where the big flea markets and beer bellies and the uh yacht club the quartzite yacht club, that's one of my favorites uh. So i'm not we're not far at all. Uh 95 is here, and that takes you out to the uh. If you head this way, which i believe is north, takes you to i'm like hi, jolly uh and um pomosa blm lands which we're heading to pamosa today, so i'm off the grid as of today, if you go the other way on 95, it takes you down To the ltva areas and dome rock is more a little bit to the west yeah west. I'M learning my way around so anyway. I just want to give you a quick rundown of the campground um called down made reservations. Wasn'T any problem. I believe it's a little light on people, because if you look there's quite a few, you know i had neighbors but there's quite a few empty spots. Still i don't know if they fill up or if this is the normal uh. Well, we're just uh we're packing up. I got a little laundry going in. Oh no, i don't know how clean the camper is and look who this is look who this is waiting for me to come back all right. Well, this is part, that's going to be part of our every other day video, so we're not going to sign off we're going to leave you with something else following up right now, so in the desert, there's actually a yacht club, it's called the quartzite yacht club And this is a room you can rent. So that's actually https://outsideinaspen.com/best-ice-packs-coolers/ uh, a hotel room kind of neat in there yesterday some met some of the nicest folks uh had a couple barley, pops, but it's actually a bargain grilling quartzite. They have a nightly uh special steak. Special so definitely be heading back there, uh sometime sometime to sometime, while i'm down here this week, so um all right. We all take care, see you on the road you're good. No, i don't know well, folks, if you like flea markets, you would love this place. It just goes on and on and on and on, and on pick me up, some dr peppers over here mask rocks. This is just one i'll, take you down, it's like a grocery store and a flea market. You can buy grape juice and christmas lights, just a taste on how big this flea market is. Actually, i think it's open every day, so uh we'll walk through a little bit. I'M gon na head to a place called beer belly, so stay tuned, there's actually a grocery store that is probably cheaper than your regular stores. They even have carts. So i have seen only am i a youtuber. I watch youtube a whole lot and i have seen lots of videos on quartzite what they don't tell. You is the dust, my god, the dust keep all your windows up all the time and see these. That would be really cool. To have one of these. I don't know what they cost, but sure you sure see a lot of them. I just picked up. Some gatorade picked up 24 gatorades for 10 bucks i'll do the math later on going back in heading to the adult daycare uh. Now i have one of these. I actually heard it running from across the flea market and said it can't be, but it is old hit, miss engines and that's where we're headed. Oh this is the rv show. I don't need to be walking over there. That'S for sure, but all kind of food ice cream get ready to head into the beer bellies adult [ Music ] daycare here, okay, get over here you'd think he would get back peaches, okay, folks, we're gon na wind this day. One video down: we are in the la posa long-term visitors area, which is known as the ltva. They have the restrooms there, but that's not why sonny and i actually we're not we're just driving through um, just checking out the area, but that's not why we stopped to show you the bathrooms folks look at this huh whoops. They need a zoom there. Look at this look at these beautiful sunsets here, absolutely beautiful. This is absorber in the distance rock over there. That'S where i was actually trying to go, but we ended up ended up over here. Absolutely well, i'm running out of words.
