Take your laptop, tablet and, sometimes, your phone along with you on your camping trip with your kids.

This is something I've learned by trial and error. My mom has been my constant supporter throughout the week and has encouraged me to plan and remember this. My excitement about going on my first camping trip, with my children and grandkids was all I had to share with my mom. Now, she is all over me, giving tips and advice on every possible scenario. My mom's voice is fine for me, but listening to her lectures can be uncomfortable. I tried to finish the job faster than I should. I made a terrible mistake and learned that the next day, or even two, was the fault of me.

We left with our car to drive the car all up to the campsite. To recreate the rustic trip my dad had back in the day I picked an undiscovered spot that would turn out to be later on, was not in service. Our phones were out of reach, and we were almost the only people there, and no other campers. Don't blame me, I was expecting a great time off working, three days out there in the nature, with the nature.. We returned in our car on the return journey 24 hours into the camping excursion..


What happened? We had no Internet and no bars, nothing. I had my laptop in my bag but it couldn't get into the bag. I had a beautiful backdrop ready for the trees to view my projector which I carried to make big-screen effects movies. The only issue was that there wasn't Internet connection to Hulu, Netflix, or Disney+. Their only desire was to look up their messages, check their emails and track their things at school and so on. I couldn't bear the idea any longer, and we packed our bags for the return trip. Since then, my plans have improved , and I now try to avoid being stuck in an area that doesn't have internet access. On our long cruise to get there I realized I needed two laptops and two tablets to keep me company. My tablet has Hulu offline videos on one hand, and Netflix movies on the other. The laptop is home to everything I have in my music and films. I have more than 600 hours worth of material which includes full episodes of South Park, Friends, Will & Grace seasons, as well as additional episodes.

I have lots of videos filled with fun stuff for children. I downloaded some Youtube music videos and converted some into mp3 format. With this web app, I was able to download a few videos onto my laptop. After that, I could watch them offline without electricity (if required). I DVR a lot of TV shows as well as seminars, films, and movies on the internet. The videos are saved as MP4 on my laptop. I then simply open them later using VLC or KMP.

4k is another feature that I insist upon. Have you watched this? Video is so clear it's amazing. I strongly recommend. TVs with 4K images have excellent software within the TV that process that image and improves it, and upscales it. Although the original video might not look very excellent, due to its unflattering, blocky and squarish style, the TV makes it look amazing and provides a contemporary, smooth video flow. Highly recommended to all girls and boys!
