If you plan to go camping with your kids make sure you bring a laptop, tablet and sometimes even your phone loaded with videos

It's something I've learned the hard-way. My mom was there all week to support me, reminding me to be prepared for this and keep that in mind. I was only able to share with her my excitement of taking my first camping trip with my kids as well as her grandkids. And she was all over my preparations puffing and puffing up with advice and instructions on any situation that could arise. I am not averse to my mom talking. I don't listen to her talk causes me to feel uncomfortable. This was a big error that I realized the next day...or two.

We took our car with us, and we drove it to the campground. To recreate the rustic environment my father experienced back in the day, I chose an undiscovered spot that, as it turned to be later, was not in service. It meant that our phones were not available, and we were completely alone without any other campers. I'm not sorry I was hoping for to have a wonderful camping experience..


What did you do? We didn't have any bars, or Internet access We had nothing. I had a laptop and some games online. The bag did not take my hands. I had created an environment so they could see the projector I had brought along with my laptop. I was unable to access Hulu or Netflix and it was hard to endure their presence. All they wanted was to check emails, texts or school-related issues. I couldn't take the idea any longer, and packed the return trip. My kids made sounds similar to tiny piglets sucking delicious food when they emerged from the WiFi-free zone. I truly love my children. But, it was embarrassing. They moaned and squealed as their phones began to beep to announce text messages that were coming in.

Since then, I've been able to prepare myself and avoid getting trapped in an area without any roaming. While on an extremely long boat ride to our destination, I discovered myself in need of my new best friends which included two tablets as well as a laptop. I've got 600 hours of content, which includes the full seasons of Will & Grace, Friends, South Park and other episodes.

There are many fun videos for children. I downloaded some YouTube music videos and then converted them to MP3 and MP4 formats. This web app lets me download the videos directly onto my personal computer. I can then play videos offline at any time I need electricity. I record a lot of TV Shows, Movies and online lectures. The videos I save as MP4 format on my laptop. Later I just play them using VLC, KMP, or virtually any video file which supports 4K.

4k is another thing that I insist upon. You have seen it? Video is crystal clear and amazing. I highly recommend. Televisions that have 4K picture support come with an amazing software that improves and processes the picture. The TV converts old video into something so far better. Highly recommended for girls and boys!
