While I'm not sure of your origins or what era it was, I am one generation of X borderlineY. I was raised as a rural person in rural areas. My first night out at a club was around 20. I can't remember much aside from the fact that I performed many different lowers and uppers. My friends said that I had a wonderful night. I was just beginning to learn about club life and it felt like an experience of a baptism. I was completely hooked. I was not attracted to the trappings of such life however, but to the way things happened at night.. For a few years, I moved between clubs. It was me, jumping from a nightclub at the first light in order to board a car, and continue on to a different location. Making preparations for the evening ahead...
On some days we couldn't sleep at all with a blaze of energy and life. We left the BOO party, went to Central Park and walked around. I still remember applying antiperspirant to my entire body and sweating for hours on my forehead..
It was recorded as a video by my friends. To my great surprise, the video was deleted. savethevideo It also contained an event sound recording that was claimed to be by a certain label. It was too late for me to get in touch with the 5 year old participant in our group. However, it was a good discussion.
