Youtube continues to promote ads on my child's Youtube channel as they are watching baby-related videos like baby shark or other channels similar to it.

This has been my question over the last two months since I started giving my baby girl the tablet with all the Youtube channels designed specifically for babies. They are all said to aid infants in their development as well as cognitive and other tasks in addition to helping them socially and mentally. Well, I do see my daughter loving the content, she just is watching it with eyes sparkling, laughter waiting to fly off her lips. I enjoy watching her being entertained. But I simply do not comprehend all the commercials. My child is not an actual customer therefore why do they insist on showing ads that look like baby ones on Youtube for my baby or YouTube?


First of all, babies do not comprehend commercials. That's simply both a cost-effective and a waste of resources, not to mention the time and effort spent in creating and playing this commercial advertisement (video) to a baby.. They are not babies. If they don't understand the message you're trying to convey, why play those ads to them as little babies? Do you believe that in the event mother and father as well as other baby-sitters are watching, they will also benefit from the ads? This is getting frustrating for me.

Cat videos are identical. My cat loves all of these incredible cat videos. It's usually birds or mice but my cat is fascinated by the fact that they don't wander for long periods of time. It's like hunting, I think. They continue to interrupt the videos with ads trying to make you buy something. My cat isn't a fan of these videos. The ads aren't important to her. Perhaps they're hoping that I am watching the videos with my cat? While they might be partially right, I've found that I watch those videos with my cat more often than anything useful.

So I found a great solution that I've been using recently. It involves downloading Youtube videos directly onto my laptop or my daughter's tablet. And then, I'm able to play later. Do you understand the problem I'm talking about? This website gives me to save the video on my computer, and not be transferred to Youtube each time my cat wants to watch birds. The same process applies to all baby video and channels. I simply search for the videos my daughter wants to watch, download them from Youtube onto my computer and then copy them to her tabled from there. Sometimes, I play the videos one at a time using her tablet. It is more convenient to access this website on your desktop computer and then copy them to where you need them. Maybe it's because I'm old-school.
