Do You Want To Go?
Are you confident that all casinos adhere to the same code? Do you think it is safe to gamble your hard-earned cash at a casino run by some of the most famous names in the business? These were the questions that I asked my Nevada gaming attorney friend while working. I was perusing the local phone directory for an authentic casino and was having a blast doing it. His response was fascinating.

"I don't know," he said. "You'll have the casino to answer your questions." The next day, I was visiting an acquaintance who had been in Las Vegas most of his adult years. He was visiting some friends from England who he'd never met before. We were all at the casino gambling, drinking a beer, when I saw an Brit sitting next to me playing an English style game , an eight-shooter game.

"What are your doing?" I asked. "This isn't part of the game" he replied. I was puzzled. "Are you British?" He replied, "No."

"You mean that you are playing a simulation? "simulated casino game" I replied. "How do you call this a simulation game?" "It's a game of luck," he said. "Does this mean these casinos aren’t operating as a legitimate business?"

"Does this mean American gaming law doesn’t apply to Vegas?" He asked. "If the law of the state in Vegas permits you to gamble in any amount you want and they declare it and go about it. I'm just saying there is an important difference between a gambler in Vegas and someone from England or Australia." I've also met people in the United States who've made a significant amount of money from gambling, but now want the chance to go back to the land of the free and increase their stakes in the land of the dollar, and they are going to Macau.

The British have an advantage in the majority of casino games; they know how to play the game, they know the house edge (the difference between the actual value of money and the fair market value of the same asset) and they are able to beat the dealers, as they know the probabilities and statistics. But they're not alone. Americans who have acquired their knowledge of casino games and applied it to craps, roulette and baccarat among other games. It's not only a matter of luck today.

Part 2 Part 2: What You Need To be aware of about casino Security. I'll explain why casinos are attractive to terrorists, and then walk you through the changes that have occurred in casino security over the past decade. This article also examines the recent rise in the use of home gaming PCs. This software is making it easier to win huge amounts of money while you dine at home. My main article is focused on the security changes at casinos that affect the slot machines. Before continuing, please read the companion article on Why Slots remain The Best Bet at Casinos. In Part Three: Slots, Dogs, And Travel Tips, I'll give you some tips for traveling to help you beat the casinos in their own games. The piece was written by Bill Bass, author How to Play Better Than the Machines. It is available under the Creative Commons License.

Part 1: The shocking Truths About the Casino Business. I revealed the obvious facts regarding Atlantic City, New Jersey gambling. Gambling is a lucrative business. The downside of this is that those in positions of power, as well as those who are financially related to the casinos themselves have been involved for years in a vast variety of criminal activities which includes kickbacks and bribes, in order to keep the casinos full and ready to give you your hard-earned money. I wrote in Part Two: "There is a Lot of scams involved in Online Slot Gaming," including tales of gamblers who've been scammed, or even were deprived of their winnings by government officials due to corruption. In this final installment I'll explain, in as much detail as I am able, some of the top tips for traveling and gambling available online on the Internet today. Please feel free to read this entire article however if you'd like to know more about my personal recommendations for gambling in Atlantic City or Las Vegas I invite you to visit my website.
