Varieties in Poker
Poker, also known as holdem poker, is any of many card games in which players place their bets on the hand they think is the most advantageous according to the rules of that game. You can play different poker variations, such as Texas Holdem as well as Badugi, Omaha, Five-Card Stud and Italian. Online poker is played using software programs or through online games.

Holdem poker is the most common variant of poker. In this form, every player has their own deck, with chips in the middle representing money, while the individual cards are known as poker chips. Word Poker is a variant of holdem poker. Two players sit next to each other and each player receives five cards. Each player is given a list of possible cards that they may confront if there is a match. When a player holds five cards, they pull out the five that correspond to the words in their hands. The person who has the smallest number in their hand will win the pot.
